What is your current research focus? | My current research focus is understanding how viruses reach their replication state within the nucleus of the cell. We observe their mechanistic and structural components during different phases of replication. |
Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in? | As a UROP student, I conducted research in the marine biology department regarding the effects of suspended sediment on the Eastern Oyster population in Apalachicola Bay. |

I have a new perception on how research is conducted in different fields and the concept of performing research. I have been fortunate enough to experience UROP because it has inspired me on new ways to conduct research and how to guide others on the path to research. |
