| What is your current research focus? | My current research focus is through the Global Health Collaboration Project at the FSU College of Medicine. I wanted to find something that combined public health with a medically focused team, which is exactly what I found through this team. We are currently involved in the hypertension crisis in rural Honduras by finding culturally cognizant interventions to help alleviate this problem. |

| Please answer the question you selected above in the area provided. | The Global Health Collaboration Project has introduced me to the real-life application of public health intervention and analysis. They have introduced me to concepts such as culturally cognizant intervention and the foundations to intricate and productive teamwork. As a result of working through the challenges of rural medicine, I have found a new trajectory on my future goal of working with uninsured and rural communities. |
