What is your current research focus?:
My current research is under Dr. Rinaman in the neuroscience department. I am currently focusing on the effects of early life stress on the vagus nerve in mice.

Please answer the question you selected above in the area provided.:
As a UROP Leader, I hope to leave a lasting positive impact on my students. I wish to be someone they can rely on both during and outside of class, and be a mentor for them as they navigate their undergraduate years. I hope to not only foster their love for learning and research, but instill in them the idea that they can do anything they set their mind to -- whether that be research related or not. 

Please list any other hobbies or interests you would like to share:
I love to cook and go to concerts! Eating healthy and listening to good music is how I like to de-stress after long days.
