Even if students end up not being interested in conducting research beyond UROP, I hope to illustrate how research topics can be applicable in their future careers and even in their personal lives. I hope to empower students to use and develop their professional skill sets as well as to highlight the positive impact they can have on others through research. '

One lab is a clinical psychology lab which focuses on the risks and reduction of suicide-related behaviors and disorders, and the other lab is a clinical neuroscience lab which studies the neurobiological systems related to psychopathy and externalizing disorders. '
