What is your current research focus?:
I am currently involved in two research labs! One lab is a clinical psychology lab which focuses on the risks and reduction of suicide-related behaviors and disorders, and the other lab is a clinical neuroscience lab which studies the neurobiological systems related to psychopathy and externalizing disorders. 

Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in?:
I am fortunate to be conducting a research project funded by the Mark A. Berkley Research Award which investigates virtue, eudaimonia, and suicide constructs.

As a UROP Leader, I hope to impact my students by fostering a passion for research and by providing them with resources and information that encourage them to explore their academic and professional interests. Even if students end up not being interested in conducting research beyond UROP, I hope to illustrate how research topics can be applicable in their future careers and even in their personal lives. I hope to empower students to use and develop their professional skill sets as well as to highlight the positive impact they can have on others through research.
