What is your current research focus?:
My research has focused on observing behaviors in mothers feeding their infants, as well as cataloging the type of frequency of therapy strategies being used by school-based SLPs treating speech-sound disorders.

I hope to guide students through the research process in a way that is non-intimidating and inclusive of all interests. Research can be done by all students in all majors, and underclassmen can massively contribute to the work being done by labs at FSU even if they haven't had any prior experience. Becoming a researcher isn't about knowing everything about a topic or having a Ph.D. - it's about having the willingness to learn, adapt, and grow! UROP is an amazing experience for students to embark on their research journey with structure and support, and it's been amazing to watch my students develop both their skillsets and their confidence throughout the years. 

Please list any other hobbies or interests you would like to share:
In my free time, I serve on the Executive Board of Alpha Delta Pi sorority and love to spend time with my sisters. I also love exercise, yoga, and journaling. On a Saturday afternoon during the Fall, you'll definitely find me cheering on our Noles at Doak Campbell Stadium!
