Students often think of research being in a lab and science based, but I hope my students can understand through my class that advocacy and research can be more that! I also hope to give them a mentor throughout their experience at Florida State, a connection to have in the future, and someone to expose them to all the resources our university has to offer!'

This research is an advocacy effort to highlight the causes of transgender violence and uplift transgender lives. I also have experience working in governmental research with energy and climate equity issues. '
