Research Tasks:
Certification in human subjects protection, recruitment of subjects, literature reviews, website improvement, logistical assistance in conference planning.
Skills that research assistant(s) may need::
Ability to think logically (required); webpage development skills (recommended but not required for all successful applicants).
Mentoring Philosophy:
Last year I had four UROP students. On the one hand, I expected them to work cooperatively with other UROP students in general lab support projects (subject recruitment, assistance in lab presentations, etc.). On the other hand, I expected them to work with me to understand the methodology of experimental economics and to develop a project of their own based upon extensive literature reviews plus critical thinking and mentoring with me. IN addition, we are anticipating this year that we may have a bi-monthly colloquim for all of the lab UROP students.
