  overall_research_project_description: 'This project, conducted in the FSU Sports Psychology Lab, will investigate the relationship between self-talk, quiet eye (a critical gaze behavior linked to performance), and personality in a dart throwing task. Participants will first complete a personality questionnaire, then perform dart throws under three different self-talk conditions while wearing eye-tracking technology. By examining how personality traits interact with self-talk and gaze control, this study aims to provide new insights into the psychological factors that influence athletic performance. Students interested in sports, psychology, or human performance research are encouraged to join.'
