| Mentoring Philosophy | Providing timely advising and generous mentoring for students on their research is an important aspect of my commitment to student development. I take a developmental mentoring approach. During the initial process, I help students familiarize themselves with relevant literature and engage them in IRB training. These activities help them connect with the literature and the research team. With the passage of time, I assign more responsibilities in data collection, analysis, and writing. I constantly involve students in conference presentations and publications. |
