What is your current research focus?:
My current research focus is analyzing the surgical factors which influence the development of post traumatic growth following open heart surgery.

Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in?:
In high school I conducted research to compare how effectively different modes of musical scales alleviated chronic pain in patients.

I chose to become a UROP leader because of the positive experiences I've had in this program so far. I want my students to have an amazing experience in this UROP, and I will do my best to fulfill this goal by providing them with the resources, knowledge and proper mindsets they need to succeed.  I hope to see each one of my students excel in their research groups so that they can bring pride to both themselves, and Florida State University in order to make the whole world a more intellectually enlightened place.

I am a music enthusiast and former allstate musician. I play many instruments and write my own music!
