  what_is_your_current_research_focus_: 'My current research is centered around hate crime offenders. We are attempting to build a database to attach typologies to the offenders, as well as to mine as much information about them as possible.  The typologies we use are retaliatory, defensive, mission, and thrill-seeking. The database has a set of holistic factors such as offender background, motivation, crime, victim background, location, etc.  We use these pieces of information to determine what typology category the offender fits under. '
