I was able to find the research lab that I have now been a part of for two years from the UROP program, and I absolutely love my research lab. I have made so many connections with PhD candidates and research professors, and have learned so many different experimental procedures and analyses. Because I had such a great experience with the research process, I wanted to become a UROP leader to help people like me with little prior research knowledge to become aware of the undergraduate research opportunities and benefits.
