What is your current research focus?:
I am currently the Lab Coordinator for Dr. Sheffler's lab under the Center for Translational Behavioral Sciences. Our research focuses on late life health outcomes as well as neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's.

I remember that straight out of high school I just wanted to seek an opportunity to explore research at a collegiate level, which is what lead me to apply to UROP in the first place. Never in a million years would I have thought that throughout this program I would have found one of my major passions during my undergraduate career. I have been able to learn so much about research that I wouldn't have otherwise if it wasn't for the opportunity that UROP gave me. Now I have over 1,400 hours of research experience and I love being able to pass on my knowledge as a UROP Leader.
