What is your current research focus?:
Currently, I am focusing on topics relating to identity formation and the implications of the identities we give certain individuals. I recently conducted an auto-ethnographic study in South Korea relating to this topic.

Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in?:
Besides being a UROP Leader, I am also an IDEA grant recipient. With this award, I was able to go abroad and conduct an ethnographic study on Black women abroad.

Coming in to FSU, I knew that research was something I wanted to experience but I was not sure in what way. After being accepted into the UROP program, I realized that I was really passionate about research and the many ways one can conduct research. Engaging in social science research seemed abstract to me when I first started college but UROP allowed to solidify what an experience in social science research looked like.
