My current research focuses on teachers' expertise in teaching emergent literacy to preschoolers with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

As a UROP Leader, I hope to encourage my students and give them confidence throughout their research experience. Research can sometimes be intimidating, but I want to provide all the tools and skills they need to navigate through their research project. At the end of the program, I hope my students will feel confident in themselves to continue their research or pursue a new research topic.
