What is your current research focus?:
I currently work in a cellular biophysics lab with a focus on cancer biology and genomics. I work with cells and conduct cell culture. We are currently studying how different integrins in MiaPaCa-2 cells change their morphology and proliferation in different extracellular matrices. We also produce lentivirus to introduce their gene of interest to a specific cell line. 

Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in?:
During UROP, I worked with the Global Health Collaboration Project. I focused on women's health regarding Intimate Partner Violence in Honduras.

I hope students can get the enriching experience I got from UROP! I developed professional, communication, listening, leadership, and time management skills! I want to help my students develop those skills through their UROP experience. I hope to be a good role model and mentor to my students just like my UROP leaders were to me!

I enjoy cooking, baking, and being active in the gym!
