What is your current research focus?:
I am in the process of finishing up my UROP data analysis for my project "Heated Garments for Warfighter Operations in Subarctic Conditions". Upon completion of that, I will be transferring to an EOAS lab focused on how microbial oceanic communities respond to fluctuations in the oceans' conditions.

Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in?:
I did research in the biology department, where I participated in several research projects, including research on avian mating dances, green-lynx spider maternal instinct, and sea slug sexual selection.

I hope to be able to guide new students. Being in UROP provides practice for so many important professional and life skills, so I want to ensure that every student gets the help they need in developing these skills and applying them in helpful ways in the future.
