UROP has impacted my time at FSU by opening the door to research for me. Prior to UROP, I was very intimidated by the research community, but UROP demonstrated to me that I had nothing to be afraid of. I was not only welcomed into the community with open arms but I was also given the support necessary to challenge myself and carry out my own research.
