During my time as a UROP student, through the use of EEG and MRI technology, my research focus revolved around learning about the human brain and how its biological functions relate to Anxiety and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

How do you hope to impact your students as a UROP Leader?
As a UROP Leader, I wish to empower my students to explore their research interests and embark on a journey of self-discovery. UROP taught me that research is more than just a textbook, it is a communicative and collaborative art. I want my students to leave UROP with the passion to learn more and meaningfully apply their knowledge to their community.

I am a member of the Asian American Student Union and their affiliate organizations, and I am a passionate volunteer at the Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.
