The Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS) is a signature event at Florida State University, recognized as one of the largest university-based undergraduate research symposia in the country. As FSU's only all-campus interdisciplinary research showcase, the URS offers undergraduate students from all academic disciplines the opportunity to present their scholarly and creative work to the wider university community.
The symposium features hundreds of undergraduate student researchers. Participants include those from programs such as the Garnet and Gold Scholar Society, Honors in the Major Program, and the Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), among others. Presentations will range from research posters to creative works, providing a platform for students to share their achievements and engage with peers, faculty, and the broader FSU community. The URS highlights the university’s commitment to fostering undergraduate research and innovation.
