The two main digital components are an OMEKA website gathering data about the year 1885 publication records of the firm, and an FSU libraries managed Repository of the Sonzogno-owned daily newspaper Il Secolo (1866-1927), the most important daily newspaper in the 19th century in Italy.  '

Student will become familiar with a digital resource that is being used internationally and with the history of Italian journalism.
