Flexible schedule (Combination of business and outside of business. TBD between student and research mentor.)
Students will gain an understanding of how stigma related to genital herpes (HSV) impacts health outcomes, with attention to differences across geographic regions and in rural settings. They will explore the drivers that contribute to these disparities in healthcare experiences and outcomes. Through this work, students will help inform researchers and decision-makers by contributing to data-driven resources that can guide the development of interventions aimed at reducing stigma, improving mental health, and addressing chronic disease outcomes.
