My mentoring philosophy is grounded in fostering a supportive yet challenging environment that encourages accountability, growth, honesty, transparency, and goal-oriented actions. I believe in building a mentorship relationship that empowers individuals to reach their full potential while navigating their personal and professional journeys. I encourage my mentees to take ownership of their work while setting a clear plan for achievement and offer feedback and guidance along the way. I rely heavily on open communication, being transparent about obstacles, accomplishments, suggestions, and external issues that impact your school work. With this approach I hope to build a relationship of trust and respect that benefits the mentee in their future careers, developing a longterm mentorship that evolves into friendship.
