  overall_research_project_description: 'This project will create a free online tool to aid jurisdictions nationwide in deciding how to best respond to emergency calls involving mental and behavioral health issues. The tool would allow decision-makers to enter data reflecting their community and return results of how their community would perform under various crisis response policies. This work you will do will help translate research into practice. A past 6-page conference paper listed below covers the type of research that will feed into the application. This project will require collaboration with multiple students working on various aspects. '
