What is your current research focus? I am researching the molecular impacts of sleep deprivation in mice, particularly in the hippocampus.

Please answer the question you selected above in the area provided. As a UROP Leader, I hope to be able to create a supportive environment for my students to grow as undergraduate researchers. My goal is for my students to feel confident in their abilities as researchers by the end of our time together. Whether it be an improvement in their communication skills, information presentation, or overall knowledge on the research process, I hope to help guide my students in these areas and more.
