  selected_response: 'As a UROP Leader, I hope to create a supportive and approachable environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and engaging with research. When I first started UROP, I found that having guidance and being able to ask questions made a big difference in my confidence, so I want to provide that same support to my students. I also hope to help them understand what research looks like in real settings and encourage them to explore opportunities that align with their interests. Overall, I want students to feel more confident in their abilities and excited about getting involved in research.'

I am especially interested in how early-life experiences and modifiable risk factors contribute to long-term brain health and how research can help determine interventions that improve outcomes.'
