My current research focuses on conducting a systematic review of national data sources to investigate assaults on police officers. Specifically to find out how frequently these instances occur, what causes them, and how trustworthy the data is. The objective is to draw attention to data gaps, enhance data dependability and gathering, and encourage more productive policing and officer safety research and policy creation.

How has UROP impacted your time at FSU?
UROP has had a huge impact during my time at FSU because it has allowed me to gain early exposure in research. This has helped me in developing abilities like data analysis, reading scholarly publications, and critical thinking about practical problems like law enforcement. I'm also able to relate what I'm studying to my majors and have given my classes a greater sense of purpose. Overall it's improved my academic performance and helped me be better prepared for the future.
Some of my Interests include staying active through swimming and other activities, as well as exploring new places with friends and family, and being open to trying new experiences wherever I go.
