  what_is_your_current_research_focus_: 'I completed UROP with a research focus in comparing resistance to endurance training. Post-menopausal women were physically evaluated, fat biopsied, and put through a micro dialysis regimen before being allocated to a 12 week endurance or resistance training regimen. After the 12 weeks were complete, the women would be evaluated in the same measures again. We then tested the cells taken from fat deposits for adipose tissue, as well as the interstitial fluid taken from cells during micro dialysis to determine if fat metabolism was improved better when resistance or endurance training. '
