It enabled me to build personal relationships with researchers in my field and explore a research topic that I was interested in. In doing so, I was able to further my understanding of the research process and develop my critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additionally, completing UROP greatly assisted me in determining which graduate degree I would like to pursue, as well as what career path to take. '
