What is your current research focus?:
My current research focuses on improving nutritional literacy among older adults through a community-based nutrition program.

Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in?:
Yes, I am involved in a Directed Independent Study (DIS) project that includes phlebotomy, blood glucose analysis, and physiological data collection where I contributed to literature reviews, poster presentations, and manuscript development on topics related to public health and aging populations.

UROP has been one of the most transformative parts of my time at FSU. It not only introduced me to the world of research but also gave me the mentorship, confidence, and community I needed to explore my academic interests more deeply. Through UROP, I’ve developed skills in scientific writing, data analysis, and professional communication. It also inspired me to pursue further research opportunities and eventually become a UROP Leader to support new students starting their own journeys.

Outside of academics and research, I enjoy playing pickleball, working out, and staying active b y exploring Tallahassee.
