I have met many mentors and peers that share my interests and love of research. I began in the Hughes lab and continue to work as a lab assistant.   what_is_your_current_research_focus_: 'My current lab focuses genetics and their evolutionary constraints. We study pleiotropic traits such as, melanin and dopamine production. By investigating these genes and behaviors, we aim to better understand diversity within organisms. '
