  what_is_your_current_research_focus_: 'My current research focus has been in American Gothic literature, and my UROP project looked at contemporary African American authors and how they used the gothic to reflect the realities of US infrastructures and systems of oppression. I am also interested in how Queerness intersects with the gothic. '
