Project Description
My research focuses on the impact of social media on mental health and well-being of its users, with a focus on its effect on body image and eating disorder risk. My past research has investigated topics such as posting edited photos on social media, influencers, the clean girl aesthetic, the body positivity movement, and more. Potential topics to focus on this year include the effect of AI on the mental health and well-being of its users, as well as other relevant topics/trends on social media.Research Tasks: literature review, data collection, data analysis (descriptive and inferential)
