CRE Finalist for Undergraduate Research Accomplishment Award

CRE-Finalist-for-Undergraduate-Research-Accomplishment-Award_article.jpgWashington, D.C. – Florida State University has been identified as a finalist for the inaugural Council on Undergraduate Research (CUR) Award for Undergraduate Research Accomplishment (AURA).

This award recognizes institutions that have devised exemplary programs providing high-quality research experiences to undergraduates. The award requires campuses to have depth and breadth in their undergraduate research initiatives and evidence of innovation of a sustained nature. Through this recognition, FSU has been identified as having one of the top undergraduate research programs in the country. CUR will will be further evaluating FSU's undergraduate research programming, and the award recipients will be announced in October 2015 and honored at a special ceremony in 2016.
