This is a qualitative study that will use dyadic, semi-structured interviews to explore how different forms of religious expression affect relationships between single-parents and their teenage children. Specifically, the study will explore which religious beliefs, practices, and other factors strengthen and/or strain the relationship. It will also explore how shared or unshared religiosity impacts the relationship.
Data Analysis: transcribing interviews; collaborating to code interviews, find themes, and create results.
Ability to learn and use a new software, which will be provided by FSU (required)
