How do you hope to impact your students as a UROP Leader?
I want to be a strong support system for my students as they navigate UROP and the world of research, many of them for the first time. It can be a scary and daunting process, so I hope that I can make the process easier for them with my assistance and guidance. I plan to be someone my students can turn to, and by the end of the year, I hope that they feel I was someone they could rely upon throughout the year. Additionally, I hope that with my help, they become more independent and confident students, researchers, and people at FSU.
