In the Fall and Spring semesters of 2022-23, I participated in research with Dr. Patricia Born on the efficacy of the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare). Our main research goal was to find differences between between states and counties in participation of healthcare subsidized by Obamacare. We analyzed possible variances including demographics, income, education, and age. The research is currently ongoing. If anyone has any questions I would be more than happy to share my experience!

How has UROP impacted your time at FSU?
UROP has provided me with a lot of opportunities I didn't know I would have in college. For one, participating in research at the undergraduate level is a very rare experience that has helped develop me both academically and professionally. I was able to gain valuable relationships that I hope to carry into the future. I also learned a lot about the different resources that FSU has to offer through my participation in the research process.
I love watching soccer, playing the guitar, and reading/watching sci-fi media.
