Answer one of the following two questions about being a UROP Leader or your UROP background. : How has UROP impacted your time at FSU?
Please answer the question you selected above in the area provided.:
Through participating in UROP, I gained direct experience with various stages of the research process, collaborated closely with my mentor and a team of researchers, and learned how to communicate findings to both expert and general audiences. Beyond professional development, the program’s emphasis on empowering students and fostering a strong sense of community has significantly influenced my undergraduate experience. My involvement in UROP has strengthened my interest in psychiatric disorders and opened new opportunities for continued growth and contribution, which is why I am eager to support and guide future UROP students throughout this transformative process.
