What is your current research focus?:
I completed UROP under the mentorship of Dr. Madeline Dougherty during the 2024-2025 academic year. My research focus was to investigate the trend, #girldinner, for potential associations with mental health and eating disorder themes, specifically examining whether the trend normalizes disordered and restrictive eating behaviors.

As a UROP Leader, I hope to guide my students through the academic research process. It can be intimidating to get involved with research at first, so my goal is to ease that anxiety and help them get accustomed to doing research at FSU. Additionally, I hope to be a friendly face for them, I want my students to feel comfortable coming up to me with any questions they may have.
