My Research focus was on whether differences of perceived group entitativity would emerge when the physical similarities (i.e., race) of groups differ and (2) whether differences in perceived group entitativity, in turn, would affect STIGS. Our work sought to offer a critical advancement in understanding how impressions of groups form as a result of shared (or unshared) group member characteristics.

How do you hope to impact your students as a UROP Leader?
I hope to impact my students as a UROP leader by becoming a supportive figure for them throughout their UROP experience. I hope to build close bonds with my students and help them feel prepared while ensuring they understand everything they need. My main goal is to help students feel confident, supported, and capable in their research journey.
I enjoy running, reading, playing pickleball and going to the beach!
