What is your current research focus?:
Over the past year, I focused on the effects of educational escape rooms in nursing simulation labs and examined which elements can enhance nursing students' learning. I've also done work on nursing students' mental schemas behind medication administration, and how they can change from implementing escape room elements into their learning.

Please answer the question you selected above in the area provided.:
As a UROP leader, I hope to expose students to all the resources they have here at FSU and encourage them to step outside their comfort zones and meet new people! I was so fortunate to have a great research mentor, and I want students to be able to build relationships with their mentors and their leaders as well. So many connections can come from this experience, and I want students to take advantage of all the opportunities they have to grow their professional skills and grow as people, too. 

Please list any other hobbies or interests you would like to share:
I am in Relay for Life, Dance Marathon, the learning assistant program, and Alpha Chi Omega! Outside of school, I love going to concerts, the beach, and reading.
