What is your current research focus?:
My current research is in the biochemistry field, specifically, enzymology. I investigate how lipid membranes and lipid-like substrates can modulate catalytic efficiency, with an emphasis on understanding mechanisms at the molecular level.

Being involved with UROP has given me a strong understanding of the research community, and was a major stepping stone in my research journey. I am still working in the lab which I started through my time as a UROP student, and have grown passionate about the topic as I continue to learn more about the field. 

Please list any other hobbies or interests you would like to share:
I love travelling, being outdoors, and doing pottery!
