What is your current research focus? My current research focus is in the Aphasia Research Lab with Dr. Elizabeth Madden, which studies how aphasia affects communication and aims to develop rehabilitation methods for those affected by such acquired language disorders. In addition to this, the Aphasia Research Lab also seeks to determine how relationships are influenced by aphasia.

Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in? In my Freshman year, I participated in UROP and worked in the Lemmon Lab with Dr. Alan Lemmon and studied the effect of sympatry on the behavioral, genetic, and neurological divergence of a species of chorus frog (P. feriarum) native to the Southeastern U.S.
