| What is your current research focus? | My current research focus is on the intersection of computer science (CS) and math with biology (specifically, cell and molecular biology). I'm interested in how CS and math allow us to understand biological phenomena at a significantly faster rate and deeper level, as well as how it can reveal biological workings that would have been hidden to us otherwise. |
| Are there any other research related activities you participate(d) in? | I've participated in UROP, the Florida Undergraduate Research Conference (FURC), the Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS) at FSU, and the Tri-Beta Biological Honor Society Poster Competition! |

| Please answer the question you selected above in the area provided. | As a UROP leader, I hope to provide my students the support, resources, and opportunities that were limited to me when I was starting in research. My personal experience entering into research was very confusing, stressful, and nerve-racking, mainly due to the fact that I didn't have much guidance or support on how to reach out to professors, how to advocate for myself, how to perform research tasks, and much more. I hope to relieve any of these nuisances that students may face during their entrance into research at FSU by being that support and allowing my students to focus on their growth and research work! |
| Please list any other hobbies or interests you would like to share | I love playing tennis, trying new foods (fun fact, there's not a single food I would not eat), seeing new places, meeting new people, learning new things, and listening to music! |
