What is your current research focus?:
When I participated in UROP, I worked on a project that examined social media apps and how the kinds of usage of those apps resulted in positive or negative emotions in users. Furthermore, the project examined the kinds of self-regulating behaviors users developed in response to those negative emotions.

Please answer the question you selected above in the area provided.:
UROP has impacted my time at FSU by introducing me to the vast array of research being conducted here in Tallahassee. Aside from the research project I actually worked on, which helped me develop transferable research and teamwork skills, I was able to learn about the hundreds of exciting research projects that are happening at FSU. Learning about this research deepened my understanding and respect for academic research, and it also instilled in me a deeper sense of pride in the FSU community.
