This year's Student Innovation Celebration will run from March 23rd to April 13th and offers twelve events showcasing the wide range of research and innovation initiatives being undertaken by undergraduate and graduate students here at Florida State.

TEDxFSU explores the ideas of FSU people: students, faculty, and alumni. In one afternoon, TEDxFSU will spread FSU ideas from art, science, culture — and all the areas in between. TEDxFSU is student run and advance tickets are available for free.

We invite all FSU faculty and students to come and celebrate the beauty of science presented by our own student researchers. The art pieces will be on display in Dirac Library and you can meet the creators of these pieces in person at the opening night event. Refreshments and soft drinks will be served.

18th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium

The Undergraduate Research Symposium is an annual showcase for undergraduate student researchers to present their work to the university community. The symposium is an interdisciplinary event that showcases research and creative activities from across campus. Hundreds of student researchers, including those from the FSU’s Undergraduate Research Opportunity Program (UROP), present their work as poster presentations.

The annual ACC Meeting of the Minds Conference has become an opportunity for universities in the ACC to highlight the diversity of scholarly engagements undertaken by undergraduates and for students to share their work with peers across the ACC.

Come join us for this year's Engineering Design Day. Be amazed by this showcase of innovative, creative, and multi-disciplinary projects developed by our graduating senior students. Each team, made up of students from among five different departments, will present their academic capstone design projects simulating real world experiences. The 3rd Annual Shark Tank is a business pitch competition for technology innovations with prizes of up to $1200.

This event provides undergraduate students with the opportunity to present and discuss outstanding research including Honors Thesis projects, highly involved DIS work, and outstanding course lab projects. It will include a poster session and the Howard D. Baker Undergraduate Research Talks and Awards Ceremony. The event will feature food and drink.
