Project Description
Architectured materials are a generic term that describes a design that incorporates a combination of different material systems or spaces which offer greater functionality than either of the constituents. Most current materials are nature-inspired, such as seashells and muscle structures.In this project, you will investigate the impact of magnetic fields on a class of materials that react to a magnetic field and develop architectured material structures. Our goal is to develop strong, lightweight materials for deep space applications where temperatures range from -410F to 210F.

Performing experiments using XRD, and PPMS

Communication: Making presentations/ posters, presenting the data in group meetings, Report writing
