Project Description
As AI becomes increasingly integrated into everyday communication and marketing activities, understanding its impact across cultures is essential. Latin America presents a unique context characterized by rapid adoption alongside concerns about trust, misinformation, and technological readiness, while the United States represents one of the most mature AI markets globally. Comparing these regions will help researchers and practitioners develop more effective, ethical, and culturally relevant AI strategies for communication and marketing.Research Tasks: The undergraduate research assistant will support a research project examining how artificial intelligence (AI) is changing communication and marketing practices in Latin America and the United States. The student will gain hands-on experience in academic research, data collection, and analysis. The project focuses on AI adoption in communication and marketing and includes a cross-cultural comparison between the two regions.
