Project Description

Set up workable LED-illumination NMR to capture the reactive intermediates that will become detectable when their lifetimes exceed the so-called “NMR time scale” (e.g., milliseconds) at sufficiently low temperatures.

Research Tasks: literature review, data collection, data analysis,

Skills that research assistant(s) may need: research lab safety knowledge

Mentoring Philosophy

Teach principles, build habits, and grow independence—step by step.
1. Start with clarity and safety.
2. Focus on learning by doing.
3. Encourage thinking over memorizing.
4. Maintain high standards, but be patient.
